Residential/Commercial
The increasing cost of energy for heating and
cooling is a drag on the bottom line of property owners, but don’t
expect conventional energy prices to go down in the medium to long
term. North American natural gas production is in decline while
natural gas demand is increasing. Deutsche Bank has declared that
there is “an urgent need for a renaissance in energy policy to
target secure supply” and that with conventional energy sources in
decline, “prices will increase significantly.” Energy analysts
disagree on exactly when conventional energy production will peak,
but they agree that it will. Credible sources estimate a global
energy peak between 2005 and 2012. North American natural gas has
already passed its production peak, and is now in decline.
Metro Solar hot water works 365 days a year, for most residential
applications. Your solar system will provide 70% of your hot
water over the course of the year, ranging from 95% in the
summertime to 10% in the winter.
